¨ Enrollment – Full time and part time non-management employees and their eligible dependents including domestic partners, are eligible to enroll in the insurance programs on their 31st day of active employment.
¨ Core Benefits –These benefits include Basic Employee Life Insurance, Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D), Business Travel Accident Insurance and the Employee Assistance Program. Core benefits are available to full time and part time employees at no cost.
¨ Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – All employees and their family members are eligible to access the EAP. This program offers confidential counseling for all types of personal or work-related issues.
¨ Medical Plan – medical benefit option for employee and eligible family members at no premium cost to the employee. PPO plan with deductible and per-pay period premium. Medical Opt-Out plan provides $35.00 per pay period in lieu of medical insurance.
¨ Dental Plan – Options include a comprehensive or preventive dental plan.
¨ Vision Plan – Through VSP we offer an extensive directory of eye care professionals and discount services on eye exams and eye products.
¨ Disability Plan – Full time employees have an opportunity to purchase short-term and long-term disability coverage.
¨ Supplemental Life and AD&D – Offers a variety of Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance for employees, spouses and children.
¨ Reimbursement Accounts – Offers both Healthcare Reimbursement Accounts and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts. These accounts allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses and dependent care expenses.
¨ Cash Plus (Paid Time Off) Program – Allows full time and part time employees to accrue dollars that are placed into a cash plus (PTO) account for future use. Employees use these dollars to replace income when taking approved time away from work (vacation, sick, holidays). Eligibility begins the 31st day of employment.
¨ 401k – Employees are eligible to contribute to the 401k Retirement Plan on a pre-tax and after-tax basis beginning on their 91st day of employment. Participating employees will receive a company match on their contributions for up to 3% of their base salaries. Eligibility for the company match begins on the 91st day of employment. Pre-tax deferrals up to 100%. After-tax deferrals up to 10%. The Company 401(k) plan, which is managed by John Hancock Investments, includes over 77 fund options. John Hancock provides ongoing financial advice in the form of employee newsletters, financial seminars, and individual financial consultation.
