Patient Identification
To ensure our clinical staff are aware of your wishes for bloodless medical care, several forms of patient identification are used.
Patient Chart “No Blood” sticker
This sticker, placed on the outside of your chart, alerts the medical staff of your directive to be treated without donor blood.
Patient “No Blood” wristband
This wristband helps identify you as a patient enrolled in our Bloodless Medicine Program.
Computer System
Our confidential computer systems also identifies you to various hospital departments as a patient in our Bloodless Medicine Program.
