Each type of insurance and/or healthplan coverage varies. The type of insurance you have and the type of covered benefits that are part of your healthplan coverage, will determine the financial responsibility you may have for weight loss surgery at Chapman Medical Center.

Chapman Medical Center is a designated Bariatric Center of Excellence provider with the following healthplans:
Blue Cross
Healthnet
Aetna
Cigna |
If you are a Blue Shield HMO patient, you may be able to be authorized to have your surgery at Chapman Medical Center. Please contact a representative from the Chapman Center for Obesity office or submit and inquiry form and an office representative will contact you.
We also offer competitive cash rates. Some surgeons may also charge a program fee for their individual services, if you are not able to meet that fee, please speak to one of the representatives in the Chapman Center for Obesity office so that we may provide you with a list of alternative surgeons.
